This vacuum just doesn’t work!!! If you leave the passive filter in the vacuum, it doesn’t have enough power to even suck out the ash in my fire box!!! If you use the vacuum without that filter it will vacum, but the primary filter becomes plugged with ash!!! And, every time you start it, ash blows all over the room that you are in. With a greater horsepower motor the problem could be resolved!!

Love using it when it's not blowing out ashes

Happy birthday! The snow Joe ashvac is actually a good product. The sad part is the support for replacement parts i.e. filters replacement You can't even buy them. I don't understand why you make a vacuum, and you do not sell the filter replacements.
