Front cover broken when it came out of the box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Front cover cracked from misaligned screw that doesn't match up with metal frame, probably a result of a design change to frame but not to front cover. Replaced under warranty but screws can't be used to hold front cover onto unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Energy Saver function failure

Product works well with the exception of the Energy Saver mode. The fan runs about every 15 minutes as designed but the sensor does not activate the compressor to cool until the room temperature is about 10 degrees above the temperature set. This is the second unit I purchased in 1 week. I returned the first thinking it was defective but now I realize this is an inherent flaw.

Hey thee SoCalWetsuits! Thank you so much for your review. If you are experiencing any rattling, you want to make sure your air conditioner is installed. Improper installation can possibly cause rattling.
Typically, once you choose your temperature setting and the room temperature reaches that setting, your air conditioner will shut off. Once the temperature in the location goes above the set temperature, your air conditioner will come back on. If you are experiencing any matters with your air conditioner coming on properly, please reach out to us at 1-877-435-3287 Monday-Friday 8am-8pm EST and Saturday 9am-6pm EST at your convenience or via email at socialcare@frigidaire.com.
