Hello Degojo, that does not sound right. It sounds like the water inlet hoses are reversed (our hot and cold inlet valves are on opposite sides than other brands). Also, some environmental and usage conditions can cause a residue to build up in the tub and can lead to a mildewy or musty smell. The Tub Clean cycle is specially designed to remove this buildup using bleach or other cleaners designed specifically for cleaning washing machines. Run the Tub Clean cycle at a minimum, once a month, or more often under heavy use conditions or if odor is present. ^AC
