The house we bought already had a W&D so when the washer finally died I went and bought this LG. I absolutely love it! Great features, easy to use and does a fantastic job cleaning!! I'm waiting impatiently for the dryer to go so I can get the LG dryer!!

This washer leaked out the bottom of the door the first four loads I did. after that I washed I washed the towels that I used to bathe the dogs. then I ran a cleaning cycle. four loads later there is still dog hair in the washer even though I've clean the gasket and wipe the inside. there's not enough water to even get the clothes wet in any load until you get to the rinse cycle. and beat it all if the load Wiggles least little bit the door starts to open up can almost get your finger behind the door between the door and the washer itself.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’ve had this washer for about 2 weeks. So far I like it. My last washer left brown scum stains on the clean laundry unless I double rinsed it. This does not. Caveat. If you add the steam cycle to your wash cycle, the wash time is almost 2 hours. Other than that, I like the quietness and the pretty melody played when the wash is complete.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had an LG washer for 13 years that we loved. When that one broke, we were committed to finding another that was almost the same. This one works great so far!
As a house with kids and pets, we love the steam options but those cycles are very long so we try to reserve them to be only as needed.
The door feels lesser quality than our old one - it just feels less solid. We hope to get an equally long life from this washer but the feel of the door made us question it.
Overall, we are happy with our purchase!
