I'm comparing this LG with my old LG. This LG takes longer times to wash and it doesn't sense how much detergent the load will use when I was told it did. The detergent/bleach/softener dispenser drawer always has water after every wash, I have to remove the dispenser drawer to remove the water. My 9 yr old LG never did that. This LG is loud and moves a lot when washing and spinning, my old one didn't. The dispenser drawer is hard to pull out, seems I'm going to break it. The front door doesn't close right, I literally have to close it slowly. Noticed the material is a cheaper quality than the 9 yr old I had. Overall, not impressed. I'm ready to exchange for another brand! I was really happy with my first LG, I'm really disappointed with this one!
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We hate to see you aren't satisfied with the performance of this machine. Our help library has information regarding water left in the dispenser. Please see: Water Left in Dispenser - Front Load Washer | LG U.S.A: http://lge.to/CyPrSx The door on this unit is equipped with a magnetic door plunger. This is to assist with air flow through the unit while not in use and is offered as a convenience feature so that the door is slightly ajar. However, if you are having issues with the door sealing properly, the unit may require a technician visit. To schedule a repair please see:

I wasn't too sure about buying a front load, but so glad I did. The features are great- especially the energy savings- it's so quiet I forget I have done a load of laundry. And so easy for me ( and my son!) to operate! Thank you LG!
