My husband loves to work in the yard and his "work clothes" have dirt, grass stains, bug spray, etc. I use an HE laundry soap and the Heavy Duty cycle and his clothes come out clean--stains gone! I've used the Delicates cycle for lace underclothing and more delicate items and find it gentle on these items. Have washed queen-size mattress cover and quilt using Bulky/Large cycle and have not been disappointed with the results.
