[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the past I've always had a top loading washer, and never had the problems that this front loader has given me... If I would have given a review, in the beginning: lets in the first yr. I would of said: its a great machine.... but not now, 2 yr. of having this washer it starts leaking around the door, and has gotten worse over the years, the 4th yr the water pump goes out, just so you all know you have to pay for that, not covered in the warranty... to have it replaced for repair, I could of bought a new washer for that price of this repair... and the water pump is plastic... made to break... and it hasn't worked right since... the spin cycle's, are to the point it doesn't spin all the water out of my clothes, and I have to take an extra time to put it on the drain and spin, it does a lot of error's, and you have to re-start it... over time my machine has a bad odor... doesnt clean my clothes like it should... In the long run its not worth the money you spend on it.... or having the 10 yr warranty..
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This one lacks the tub light, lacks the steam fresh cycle, and takes way too long to wash clothes. 2. 5 hours to wash clothes means I can't even do all my clothes in one day!! Ridiculous!!! The download is a joke, one available and it mimics other cycles. I have to wash clothes on the speed cycle just to get them washed in a reasonable time.

I bought this machine with great expectations, but was very disappointed. I thought I had done my homework but this machine requires a lot more care than I have time for. You have to dry the door seal each time you wash and once a month drain and clean a filter , also you must leave the door propped open to keep the drum dry. The problem with my washer was the door magnet that is suppose to keep the door slightly open did not hold and allowed the door to swing open every time which did not allow us to enter laundry room without hitting the machine door. I returned this machine to the store. The machine washed the clothes fine but this was not the machine for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Aabout three weeks ago I received my LG washer. I was concerned that the New washer wouldn't wash as well as the old one. But I threw a dirty rug in there and it came out spotless. It exceeded all my expectations and now I'm in LG fan.
