[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have just fell in love. Laundry has never been so easy and it just cleans my clothes so good. I know people say the front loaders can go to smelling bad but I have been leaving the door open and I have a towel that sits near by that I dry the door gasket out after each use and I haven’t had that happen to me yet. Hope it doesn’t!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had 3 months and it died with an electrical pop at the control panel while trying to finish its spin cycle. It has no memory of your last adjustments and can make no adjustments unless you go through thier app. The tones to say it is done can only be turned down but not changed. It's not a beep but a melody that is played when turned on and when completed. Replaced a set of Neptunes after 20 years because the washers bearings finally went out but no problems before that. Should have got the bearings fixed...would not recommend this product to enemies much less friends. I could not post this without agreeing to the sweepstakes and all the terms and stuff that comes with it...

Last LG Frontloader (WM2487) was Better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received our new LG today to replace a 9 year old LG WM2487. I've tried all the combinations of cycle options and it seems LG has set the software on the WM3670 so that it is impossible to select or enable both the Water Plus and Extra Rinse options for any wash cycle. There's no such mention in the manual that use of one option removes the ability to use the other - RELEASE A SOFTWARE UPDATE LG!. True balance does provide smooth high rpm spin but there is more wobble / tub shake at low rpms since the ball bearings in the balance ring haven't spread out. This unit was manufacturered in Vietnam vs Korea and there's some little telltale signs that build quality isn't what I expected.

Can't wash without water

I bought this about a year ago and I can see why people do not like front load washers. I am in the commercial laundry equipment business and do not understand why manufacturers are not able to take cues from their commercial lines. Brand does not matter. Soap needs to mix with water to wash something. It helps to flush out any soil you can prior to the wash bath. My clothes are not even wet before the soap is dispensed. Add a warm or cold flush before the hot or warm wash bath. Make sure the water level is high enough to touch whatever you are washing. It will help. Energy star is great but it wont matter how much water you save per load if you need to wash something 3 times.

Broke in 5 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Already needs service after only 5 months! LG ordered the repair since it is still under warranty, but repair man can't figure out the problem. It gives an error code something like door misaligned. After trying a number of different parts, the problem remains. The repair man had determined it needs a new "brain", however the part is back ordered and it is not known when it will arrive. I guess this part must be in high demand...steer clear of this washing machine! Prior to this I had a very high opinion of LG having several other of their products in my home....now I think I am done with them!
