[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had purchased a top load but was noisey and rough on my clothes. Went back and exchanged for the lg front load with steam and I absolutely love it! It's quiet, clothes are softer and I love the speed wash for 15min and dry for 25min.

Child lock isn't effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok so I actually love how the machine works as far as washing capability, but that's when I can actually complete a cycle. I have a 2 year old that loves to push buttons. I turn on the child lock to prevent her from messing up the settings but for whatever reason the creators of the child lock system at LG didn't think it was necessary to include the the power button in the child lock capabilities. When I turn on child lock, she can't change the wash settings, but she can hit the power button and turn the machine off mid-cycle. It's infuriating to go back to your machine and see that the machine is powered down 5 minutes after starting the cycle. If you have a small child and will rely on the child lock then shop for something else.

Hello vmwash, thank you for the feedback. The Power Button is not included in the Child Lock for safety reasons. The unit must be able to be turned off quickly in case of an emergency and not need to have the Child lock disengaged first. ^AC
