[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Besides the small leak that has been there since we bought it and is now so bad we had to have someone come out and look at, it's a great washing machine. They ordered a new seal and we're hoping it fixes the problem. It's been a great washer for the past 4 years otherwise. Wish it had an insert for washing shoes..

I’ve had a great washer until this model from LG. Last model was 10 years strong! This model gave out quick. Do not buy. The drum is hitting the door and has scrapped it on the bottom, I thought it was going to bust! Yikes

After using this machine for 3 1/2 years now, I am pleased to say, this is the best washer that I have ever purchased !! The run times are longer than my older machines but far more efficient washing. There are multiple settings so there is something for every one. One has to remember that due to the washer being extremely efficient, one must use very little soap! A plus for the pocketbook ! This washer can handle heavy duty washing with a breeze and the load size is adequate for big loads.The load sensing feature is great to manage balancing and water level and helps keep the energy usage low. And lets not forget that steam cycle.... Wow !!!!! I thought I would never use it but a family member said it might be worth paying a bit extra and giving it a try. Well worth my investment ! I use this cycle at least once or twice a week for those heavily soiled large loads and they come out looking great ! I totally love love love this washer and use it every day. I am looking forward to a long life with this washer. I have found LG products reliable and fairly priced and have other LG products in my home. I would definitely purchase this product in the future and recommend it to anyone looking for a front loading washing machine.

I’ve owned the lg dryer with steam feature for 5 years. It works great. I did use the steam feature once but real didn’t see the value. Since my loads tend to be on the smaller side I use time dry feature. All the fancy features are really overkill for me. I’m sure I’m not alone on this and I think there is a market for a simpler but good looking machine. Same thinking goes for the washer.
