After much research, I decided on this washing machine to replace a 4-year old Whirlpool that was nothing but a money pit. That was my 4th Whirlpool. The quality has gone way down with them. Anyway, this LG has been awesome and I love that it also has a programmable cycle, among other great features, like a clean out filter system, which I have never seen before. I highly recommend this washing machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using this machine for about a month. Our clothes seem to be much cleaner. After drying, they have that crisp, clean feeling. Clycles seem quite long, so I do hope they are saving water and electricity. Only time will tell that. Am glad we picked what Consumer's Report suggested as Best Buy.

Could Not Be Happier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous LG frontloader was a earlier version from when they first became popular, it served us well and required minimal maintenance from me over the years. Sadly, it finally died suddenly one Sunday afternoon and quick inspection revealed a gearboc/transmission failure. I took my wife shopping right then and she found this left over last years model at a reduced price. It works flawlessly and the wife is happy once again so therefore I am happy. The first one served us well for many years and we have come to expect this from LG products, based on that experience we didn't even look at other brands. Thank you LG.
