Mine is dying after 10 years

I have the white model (same model, just a different color). It was purchased in 2009. Only recently have I had issues. The soft touch buttons started cracking a couple of years ago, but they still worked. The glass carafe developed a small crack a few months ago, but it hasn't leaked. Last week I set the program feature to brew my coffee before I woke up, as always. I got up the next morning, fixed my to-go mug, turned off the coffee pot and left for work (it will turn itself off after 2 hours, but I always turn it off before I leave). When I came home, I was surprised to find the coffee maker was still on! The green power button was off, but the coffee maker was still going all day. I unplugged it, plugged it back in the next day and it seemed to function normally. It hasn't done it again, but now I'm scared to leave it plugged in when I leave the house. I have not had any major issues in ten years, so I'm considering buying another one of the same model.
*I forgot about one issue that I noticed when I first got the coffee maker (it's been a while). Water/steam would leak out from under the lid pretty bad (it did not fit tightly when closed). I noticed the rim that the lid fits down onto was uneven and stuck up too far in the front, so I used a metal file to shave it down a little - Right in front of where the catch tab is. Then the lid fit more tightly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is our first Black and Decker coffee maker. We like all the features EXCEPT
the numbers on the carafe are very hard to read. Especially for us older folks.
The numbers should be bolder and easily readable.

This is a great coffee maker . It’s a great price and it does exactly what it claims to do. It makes coffee quickly and efficiently . It’s also Removable and Auto Shuts-Off, has a Programmable Timer, Removable Filter Basket and Touch Panel Interface . I highly recommend .

Coffee Machine

Love this coffee machine. But have a question. All of a sudden it starts like delayed coffee. I can't get it to stop so I have to unplug it every morning. But miss the clock. Do not want to burn out the machine or break the pot. Why is this happening?
