Worked fine for a year

Had no complaints until it abruptly quit working. I guess they don't make them like they used to. I bought a B&D coffee maker and a toaster oven a year ago, and they're both duds. CMaker died and the timer function on the toaster never really worked correctly. It burns everything unless you watch it closely. (And yes i turn it past 10 to set timer)
Think I will go to good will and look for a older model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My darth vader coffee maker

I love this coffee maker. But last week the button under the brew basket came off, and the spring. The little rubber ring almost went down the sink drain. It took me a little while to figure out how to reassemble it. I'd like to know if i can order some of these rings to keep on hand.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quit working after 8 months

Bought this on Amazon in November, worked great, loved the timer, auto shut off, etc. Today it just didn't work. Power is on, but doesn't make coffee. The heating element is not working as well. Super disappointed.

Clock runs fast

Last year my husband and I bought this model especially for the programmability. Shortly after a year of use the clock started running fast :( We figured it was probably some type of fluke in the wiring, we bought another a week ago. This morning we discovered our new coffeemaker has the same issue which makes the one feature we were counting on useless.

Lasted less than 3 weeks

I just moved to a new city about 3 weeks ago and picked up this coffee maker. It was working great until all of a sudden the heating plate stopped working. I'm having a hard time believing it wasn't able to last 3 whole weeks before dying. I'm extremely disappointed because this brand is so familiar and I was expecting a lot more.

I bought this off amazon 4 months ago and it stopped working today- carafe is cold. Cleaning is not the issue. Annoying.

Burns coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had it for 2 days. The heating plate gets so hot it burns the coffee immediately.The machine gets very hot too and steams like crazy and makes my coffe taste like plastic.
Option at bottom asks if I received a free product. When trying to select option it chooses yes and that’s the only option. Does not allow you to choose anything else. I did not receive a free product.
