easy to use but unsure about the quality :(

I purchased this and generally was pleased with the product because of its simplicity. However, I placed the carafe on my desk today-- as I do every day-- and part of the bottom just cracked off... I did not drop it (you can tell by the photo), so it's disappointing and strange to me how or why this happened... It seems that the quality of this particular carafe was inadequate :(

Stay away from this coffee maker

Purchased this model through Amazon in October 2016. Brewed coffee was good but the unit stopped working after 5 months. I had a similar model that lasted for over 12years before it finally gave out and decided to stick with a B&D product. Very disappointed with this purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Auto shut-off

How do I disable the auto shut-off feature. I want to have 4 hour old coffee and leave my pot on all day if I feel like it. I do NOT want to come back to a cold pot. Boo.

The two hour auto-shut off is a safety feature that cannot be disabled, however, we do have a model CM1200W that will keep your coffee warm until it is manually turned off. Stopped Brewing...

I had this coffee maker for a little over a year and a half. For that time I enjoyed it very much! One day it just stopped working... lights come on and it is clearly on but no coffee is brewed :( have tried to look up solutions to fix it but no luck. Would love to have my working coffee pot again!

Stay away!!!

I bought this in November & it stopped working today (July 18). Even though the light comes on, nothing brews & the plate does not get warm. I just used it this morning & now this afternoon, it does nothing! Very disappointed in this product!

Shuts off at random times

I bought this in early February and it worked very well for a month or two. Since then, it shuts itself off at random times, including in the middle of a brewing cycle. At first it was once in a while, now it can happen two times for one pot of coffee. Very disappointed!
