Love the timer and sneak a cup

I used this for around for at least two years without failure. Two years ago my girls bought me a keurig for Christmas. My husband hates it. I finally decided to put it in storage and get my Black n Decker out. After cleaning it, it is working like new. I like the two hour turn off feature. I think any longer the coffee would be too strong. Excellent product!
I would recommend this to a friend!

After 7 years, it just stopped working

I bought this like 6 or 7 years ago and all of a sudden, it just stopped working. Like losing a best friend. I'm sad and need coffee.

Will not turn off.

My 2 week old pot will not turn off. I have to un plug it. It's making a beeping noise. It's a fire hazard!

Quit working in error months

Lasted less than a year

Bought this last December and recently stopped brewing. Should last longer than that. Wanted to see if I could figure out the problem myself but access cover is held on by screws with proprietary heads.

Used to be good - now only lasts six months

There is nothing worse than programing your coffee maker the night before to produce a fresh pot at 4 AM and waking up to finding both the pump and hotplate on the coffee maker died resulting in no coffee.
I don't know if Black and Decker changed components and got a bad batch, but this model isn't as good as the same B&D model from years past.
Pros: Clock and delayed brew works. This machine brewed good coffee for the short time it worked.
Cons: It only lasted six months before the hot plate and pump went. From other reviews it appears that this is a known and common problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
