Features are nice and price was right, but.....

I purchased this particular coffee maker based on features, price and the Black and Decker name. Had previously owned Mr. Coffeemakers. The thing about this product that is maddening is the lip on the carafe...it drips and runs down the side of the carafe. I've tried pouring slower, faster, with lid shut, with lip open...it drips and it is frustrating. I now pour my coffee over the kitchen sink - which I shouldn't have to. Doesn't seem like rocket-science to make the lip on a carafe that DOESN'T DRIP! HELP!!!
Do you (Black & Decker) have an answer?...or a replacement carafe with a DIFFERENT lip??????

Horrible

I bought this pot brand new after experience with Black and Decker products. I wanted an inexpensive pot for my work shop area and this one fit that. This pot is horrible, the tank leaks and so it never makes a full pot of coffee. It doesn't stay on for 2 hours as the documentation claims and the coffee is way too hot so it nearly boils. Avoid this one!

Very Poor Mouth design on the pot

This is by far the worst coffe pot I have ever bought. Everytime you try to pour the water into the back or the coffee into your cup it pours all over the counter. I have gone through more paper towel in the last two month since getting this coffee pot than I have in an entire year. I have tried holding the pot differenlty, I have tried opening the lid, it makes no difference, it pours all over. Very very poor design on the mouth of the pot. I am so frustrated with the coffee and water going all over the counter top. I will never buy a black and decker coffee pot again. This coffee maker is only two months old and I am ready to junk it becasue it is junk!!!!

Poor caraft design

I purchased this coffee maker expecting the Black&Decker quality I have come to know. I was disapointed. The coffee maker is very slow to produce a pot of coffee. And the caraft has a molded plastic "squared" pouring spout which for some reason results in coffee spilling when trying to pour a cup. I would not recommend this coffee maker.

12 cup programmable

This coffee maker was purchased by me a little under 6 months ago. I have kept it clean and used it approximatly once a day sometimes twice. The programmable feature was nice while it worked, but for some reason the digital clock/ timer went haywire, and this is the second one I have purchased. When I bought the first one I thought maybe I had done something wrong, but when I took extra care this time to not cause any problem and the exact same thing happened I knew it had to be a fault of the coffee maker itself. I am a firm believer in Black & Decker products, but they need to review this product and work out the kinks maybe because I would really like to stick with them, and would like to purchase a coffee maker that will work for several years. Thanks

high levels of condinsation

this coffee pot leaks very badly it has high levels of condensation at all times. the water runs off the lid and on to the counter it also spits out water while making coffee. lid does no seal properly and water ends up everywhere. would not recommend this model.

When it is near full, the carafe will not pour coffee without spilling down the side...poor design for the spout!

I have it for less than a year one part broke

First it keeps making a clicking sound all the time which is so annoying. Then after not even a year the part that is supposed to make sure the Coffee and the Pot is dripping properly and stops has broken. Now I am missing that pressure point between the two that prevents the leaking of coffee when you pull the pot out in between the drip. You know how it should stop automatically when you pull out the pot, well that piece is now gone.
