Stopped Working!

I had this coffee maker for less than a month and it just stopped working. One morning I put the water and coffee in, turned it on, and nothing! What really makes me angry is that I had a Mr. Coffee for the past 15 years, it still worked, my daughter bought this coffee maker because she thought I needed a new one. I guess I will be buying a new Mr. Coffee today...definitely not a Black & Decker!

Excellent Price-Poor Performance

My last coffeemaker was a B&D and worked very well but unfortunately after two and one half years the carafe cracked. We decided to get a new one and stay with B&D. I ran a batch of fresh water to clean it out in preparation of using it the next day. The next day the coffeemaker would not brew. The on light was lit but the coffeemaker would not heat up. Very disappointed to say the least. It is going back to the store today. I am skeptical of taking a chance again on B&D.

Terrible quality

After using this product for only a month the handle of the carafe became loose. Then one day about a week later the entire handle just fell off!!! Terrible quality, I am very disappointed with this product.

This pot makes great coffee, and is what I was looking for, but there is one outstanding problem I've had with it. When you open the lid to pour water in, the condensation on the inside of the lid runs down the back of the pot onto the counter. [And the lid needs to opened all the way to get the water in.]
Not sure why it was designed this way but it needs to be changed somehow so that doesn't happen.

Brews coffee with less amount of grounds. Easy to pour in water.

Honestly this is a terrible coffee maker. The water level isn't visible and the thing broke after 6 months. It was awful.

Pour a mess of coffee

The Black & Decker coffee machines are wonderful for the price, but the pour spout on the pot included in this model (and others with the same pot) isn't properly shaped for the perfect pour... It is almost completely impossible to pour coffee from this pot without spilling small to rather large amounts of coffee... It could be that they want you to pop for the replacement pot (but frankly, I have a pot from an old machine (not made by B & D) that I use when I encounter a coffee container that I dislike. Pouring liquid's not hard, and I happen to know that they've had this product flaw for about 2 years at least.... B & D needs some coffee pot R & D.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Control panel on coffeemaker doesn't match book.

Control panel shown in manual is different from what is on coffemaker. The auto and hour buttons are switched on the actual coffeemaker from what shows in the manual. Manual's layout makes sense with the hour and minute settings on the same side. It seems like the machine was incorrectly manufactured.
