Great monitor for price

I bought this monitor a couple months ago. It works great in the dark and in the light. I was impressed with the sound and vision quality. It also provides me price of mind knowing it comes with a great warranty if something happens to it.

I received my monitor and set it up in my daughters room. It was such a quick and easy setup and has great night quality! I could really see and hear everything

We just ordered this from our registry after we didn’t receive it at our shower. It was on sale, had great reviews and everything we were looking for in a video monitor. It has good quality picture and sound, I especially like the large screen. Can’t wait to use it once our baby boy is here!

Good with one possible issue

So far the monitor has worked well. The night vision is clear and the audio is clear. Biggest issue is it drops connection between the camera and screen. Not sure if it is an issue with our walls or the product. It always reconnects at least. Also the directions on specific features on the monitor could be more detailed.

I’ve only had my my new Levana Alexa monitor for a few days, but I already love it! The size of the screen and the different features are much better than my previous monitor (different brand).

Go Another Route

We bought this 6 months ago. I went back and forth on wheather or not to get a more expensive brand or go with something that had 4* and be good enough. Apparently good enough is bad. Battery life is only 5 hours. I write this at 2:00 am because I woke up to not the baby but the monitor beeping loudly at me. Furthermore it had been fully charged & plugged in all day. We went to bed at 9:00 pm which means we get about 5 hours on the battery. On top of that the antenna broke already. I have no idea how, but it dangles like a broken arm. Before the antenna breaking the reception quality was spotty. Our house isn’t overly big but I don’t get reception in my downstairs office - the one place I need to be after everyone is down for the night. The signal will go in and out the whole time unless I prop it ON my computer. Note - I’ve given up on trying to work after baby is in bed for that reason. Battery still sucks even when I go to bed at the same time as the rest of the family & it’s not searching for signal. I don’t know what I should expect from video quality on these things. They weren’t around when my older kids were babies. Maybe I pumped it up in my head, but I’m not impressed. For one - it’s back and white. I spend a decent about of time asking myself “is that a shadow or is she really trying to sleep on her face again” It’s surprisingly hard to tell. We keep her closet propped open because it does require some light. Feels like watching her on a TV my grandma had at her house well past the invention of the remote. We can talk to her which is a feature I liked, but I’m not impressed by the audio quality. I can get whoever is in there fine, but trying to communicate with my 13 year olds or husband while they are in there isn”t helpful. Lots of “huh” and “what” from the other end. Like those “can you hear me now” commercials. “The diapers are in the changing table” “No the CHANGING TABLE” (slower) “Changing Table! Oh forget it. I’ll be up there in a second”
Anyway - don’t waste your money. I’ll be buying a new one tomorrow. Maybe I’ll sleep through the night, and not because of the baby.
