Best Monitor for the Money

This monitor has everything we wanted and works great. We cannot wait to use it for our newborn.

Great battery life, but otherwise very average

I bought this to replace my Summer Infant 1.0 and have been delighted by the much much better battery life. It lasts for 12 hours without the screen on and probably 6 hours with screen on.
I also like:
a) the one button to switch between cameras (summer infant is a convoluted process to switch cameras)
b) the time and temperature on screen
c) no lights on when i turn the screen off (Summer infant has a super bright green light that stays on alllll the time, so I end up turning the monitor away when I'm sleeping).

Down sides:
a) the lowest volume is still very loud
b) the camera is so zoomed in that with my standard ceiling heights, I can't get the camera far enough away to fit the whole screen into the view of the monitor. This would be fine if there were a zoom or pan function, but there is not.
c) reception is not great. it's nice having the additional antenna, but the product would be useless without it. My house is only 1800 sq ft and we lose reception all the time.
d) the night/day vision is way worse than the new summer infant 2.0. Especially during an afternoon nap when there is just enough light peeking in to turn off night vision but it's still too dark to actually see anything with day vision.

I love this monitor! I did a lot of research before we had our son and now at 2 1/2 months we are finally using it for his crib and we love it! It tells us the temperature in the room and it moves so smooth and well. The picture is so good for night and day and the sound is perfect!

So far so good. Good image and simple to set up. I have only had for a week so we will see how it continues to work. The usb connection to camera at first appeared not to fit but after trying several times it went in. I had to get creative hanging the monitor since I use it for my grandson pack an play.

Amazing monitor

I just received my monitor in the mail and had to set it up immediately! It is very simple to use. The picture is clear, there is a slight delay in time but not big enough to make it an issue. The talk back button works great as well. I am very happy I went with this monitor!

The video works great even when using the night vision. I love the size of the video screen, and the temperature gauge. The temperature gauge is very helpful in our house because the temperatures in any room in our house is different than what its suppose to be, so this feature is great! Overall good baby cam!!

We purchased this item for our daughter's room. It was easy to mount the camera right to the wall and the monitor itself has a clear picture both in and outside our house. We haven't had it for a long time but are happy with our purchase so far!
