Almost unusable, due to very poor night vision.

Bought this on 12/31/16 and received it this evening on 01/09/17, delivery was delayed from the 01/06/17 due to poor weather.
We have two kids, our eldest turns three soon and has just moved into a larger bed and we wanted the camera to ease the transition. Our youngest who is about to turn one we wanted for checking on her during the night as she has been unwell of late more than usual.
Set up was easy as both cameras were already paired. Took my time to get the right angles for both of the kids ensuring not to close and not too far away.
Put the kids through the bath, did story time and then put them too bed and at that point it is where the product falls down. Upon switching the light the cameras become virtually unusable. The cameras are less than six feet from both of our kids and it is hard to tell what we are looking at on the monitor. Very disappointed with this as a product and will very likely package them back up and return them, which leaves me out of pocket paying for UPS ground shipping.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not what I expected

I bought this monitor a few months ago and honestly I'm not sure if I received a defective model but I can hardly see my baby on the screen, it looks kind of like an ultrasound picture, and if I move just a little not far away it says No signal. It's supposed to have a long range but it barely stays connected when I'm standing at my door! Not happy with this product. I wouldn't recommend it.

A family member purchased a Levana camera over 6 years ago and was very happy with the product . They recommended looking at your cameras after our son was born. I purchased the Alexa camera and was so happy with it that I purchased a second one for Grandma and Grandpa's house. The monitor is very simple to use even in the dark. I wish the night time video feed had clearer resolution as we only use the camera at night. We tried a wifi camera that had a great nighttime picture but was unreliable because the camera would disconnect from the wifi sporadically. Thanks for a great product.

Broke after 2 nights!!!

We got this as a shower gift. The camera power cable has an issue and will not work in all outlets. The outlets are hot and other devices work in the outlets, but when the camera is plugged in there is no power.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
