This is advertised as reducing flare-ups and it does but not as much as I thought it would. Because the holes are so small it accumulates a lot of debris so it always dirty.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Grill

We had our grill a few week's now cook a lot on it and meats turned out excellent. Also holds temp very well inferred is the way to go.

One week, one use...

Got this as a gift for Father's Day. Replaced a different brand that was eleven years old, was on its second aftermarket universal-fit burner and the rack and heat shields were rusting away. I like to read reviews where someone has used a product long-term and base my decision on it; however, most reviews on any site are short-term. I'm hypocritical in that I've had this for a week and used it once. What I will say is that it feels like a quality grill and heats up very nicely and evenly. Even at medium heat the grill heated up to 450° and climbing. I had to turn it down to low or med/low so I wouldn't overheat it. There were no flare ups when the grease fell through.
I'll have to learn how to properly clean the grates as the grease is baked on in some areas and blocking the holes. I also noticed the metal shelf and side burner box got pretty warm (especially the front stainless steel) due to conductivity because they are attached to the grill box so be careful when placing your hands on them.
Overall I plan on taking care of this grill as I did with my previous one and my wife hopes I grill much more than I have in the past.

Broiling Hot Grill

I've been using my grill summer and winter in Delaware, and wouldn't want to be without out. Makes my food look like I'm a great cook.

Great grill for the money

This girl is one of the best I've ever owned, especially for the price. The Searing greats work wonders when cooking anyting. No flare-ups and even cooking. Just the great Grill and I'm very happy with it. I would expect to pay double what I paid for this Grill for one of the same quality.

I bought this last year and I love this grill !!!! The side eye burner is great so I don’t have to cook inside during summer heat !!! My first grill and boy am I impressed !!! Will always be a Char-Broil customer !!!
