bought this same product approximately 8 years ago and this current grill does NOT stand up to the old model. All of the metal is extremely thinner and weaker . it is definitely flimsy and not up to the original standards. would not have bought this current grill knowing the lack of strength of the grill compared to the older one.

Grillin' the way it was intended.

This is my go-to grill! Nothing beats a true charcoal grill! Low and Slow, savor the flavors! This is my favorite of my 3 grills! The other 2 are propane fuel and are used for the fast food style parties and get-togethers. This 580 is for me and the wife, me and a buddy, or me and my son to enjoy the adventure in grillin' and the taste that you cannot get from propane!
