Gets the job done well

I was anxious to grill and the price was write. Assembly was pretty easy, took me just under two hours. I like the size of the cooking surface, and the amount of control you have over airflow.
I wish I could say, I like the control you have over the heat, but the thermometer doesn’t work.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Had my BBQ for three years now. Bought with weather cover and live in So Cal. Use it at least (1) time a week.
Great for heat control and managing all types of meats. Grill is solid and leaves great sear markings. Clean up tray is simple and easy.
The Grill has worn over the past three years. I like to grill at 500 degrees for steaks, but not sure the BBQ can survive that heat over the long term. The charcoal grill has deteriorated and has started to break apart. However, it has served me well for the investment. These are not premium grills, so don't expect to have them for 10 years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent grill except...

I've owned this grill for 5 years and think it's a great grill except for the charcoal pan, and only when I'm cooking steaks. It just doesn't seem to get hot enough for my liking. I ended up using a grate from my old grill to put on top of the pan and put the charcoal on that. For everything else I couldn't ask for better. Excellent temp control, easy to clean, well made.

Decent grill

We have had for two years. Decent grill, but if moved or bumped, the ash tray falls out making a huge mess. But all in all a decent charcoal grill:)

I wanted a slightly smaller grill than my old grill to fit my new deck space. The assembly took some time. The install manual is picture oriented. The drawings for attaching the ash pan lift tray are horrible. I had to go to Youtube to determine which way it attached to the lever that you use to raise the pan. The grill has been outside for a couple of weeks. We've had a lot of rain. I got to use it once. I've cleaned it. I like that I can bring the grill gates inside for cleaning. It took some time for me to get a grill cover. There are already places where it is rusting. My last grill lasted over 15 years. I hope this one will last a couple.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this grill after seeing a friend's larger one. I like the handle that raises and lowers the coals. I was disappointed that the grill was filled with water after the first rain. I have bought a cover, but that's kind of a pain to put on as I use the grill a lot.
