Works Fine
on April 2, 2014

The machine features are fine and it does an adequate job washing clothes - the water use is very conservative, but electrical use is high because of long cycle times. Having had to replace the motherboard after 1 1/2 years of ownership & use was an unpleasant surprise at a cost of about 1/4 the price of the machine. Perhaps other models do not have this technical issue, which affects the use of the machine in that I could not use it because of the continual LE error code and four repair trips to rectify. Now that that is fixed, it is back to the machine I wanted. I would not buy another LG washer due to difficulty in getting repairs done and that it is a high energy user.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great features, haven't used them all just yet. Very loud during the spin cycle. I would've liked a bigger capacity washer.
Pros: easy to use, Features/Settings

Best of all like products

I purchased with birthday $ a front load washer with the help of my daughters. I had researched all the main products and decided the LG was the one! Wow I couldn't be happier. I truly beleived that more water made cleaner clothes. Ha! not true. the clothes are cleaner than ever before and without pre-treating! the steam feature is the absolute best. I love all the features.
My message to new buyers, DO NOT CONSIDER ANY OTHER BRAND!
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, attractive

Love the LG washer. Efficient as well. Only issue is the odor if you don't clean the tub once a month.

Don't buy it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Front load machines are supposed to save water, and it does. But it also saves the dirt too. When I run a wash load under the setting with the heavy duty wash, some of my clothes don't get wet. So I know they aren't getting clean. Another problem is the machine grows mold inside it if you don't leave the door open when not in use. What kind of stupid design flaw is that? Last problem, the filter system is in the very bottom of the machine, as soon as you try to pen it up, you get about 5 cups of water that run out.
Another dumb design flaw..They include a drain hose but it's 2" from the floor. How many containers do you know of that are 2" tall and will hold that much water??

Dry Cleaners Be Ware, Your out of business!
on February 22, 2016

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a family of four: Mom, Dad and two 14 year old boys. Yes the grime piles up...I can keep my husbands suits and shirts better than the dry cleaners, wash the boys yucky sports gear and have all the wash done perfectly! The bulky cycle is great for comforters, cushions and pillows. Sanitary cycle gets 100% of the yuck and smell out of the sports stuff, rugs, boys shoes and it is still great for sheets and underclothes. Steam clean is great for dry clean items and will freshen clothes quick. All your items are clean, fresh and the water consumption is great! Less than six (6) gallons a full load! Plus my dark colored clothing stays dark. All in All this is a great machine.
Pros: Style/Design, Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
