This is a great product. Our Maytag failed after 10 years and we searched a number of options. This LG model fit the bill. We have many small loads and this product weights the load and recommends the amount of soap. Great economical feature.
They even have a magnetic plunger that keeps the door slightly ajar to get air circulation when not in use! This avoids the mildew problem. In addition, they have a hose that pulls out from a door at the bottom so when we travel we can completely drain the tub!
It is very quiet and cleans cloths great.

Where do I start? The tub is huge! What was 2 loads of dirty clothes is now one!! I can put the laundry in at night, set the timer for the morning. By the time I get up, the wash is just about done and I can have it folded and put away before leaving for work!!! I like the way the washer & dryer "sing" to me!!!

I bought the washer and dryer pair with the stands. I don't suggest getting one without the stands. The washer does a good job on getting the clothes clean. Only complaint is my clothes have a burnt rubber smell when I use the steam cycle. Other than that I am pleased with the machine.

This is my first front load washer. I purchased it with the matching gas dryer. I was a little hesitant after hearing some stories about front load machines. This washer is awesome! Not only does it look good, but my clothes have never been cleaner! I hardly uses any detergent, not to mention so much less water than my old one. It's extremely easy to operate and you can certainly do a large load - I have a California King bed, so washing the bedding has always been a nightmare - not anymore! It gets the stains out, even old ones, does a great job on pillows, you name it. I'm so glad I bought this machine! I do at least 10 loads of laundry a week, and this has made it much easier!

Researched them all, then landed on this one.
Extremely feature-laden for the money. Unbelievably quiet! You can customize the wash cycle to precisely address they type of load being done. Steam feature is awesome...really get's the tough stains out, really truly. Highly recommend this washer.

Before getting this machine, I didn't look forward to washing my work clothes because my old agitator machine was very hard on them. They lost their shape and color very quickly. With my new LG, my clothes come out of the washer almost ready to wear. No kidding. They are bearly damp and not very wrinkled. Often times I bypass the dryer and let them dry on the hanger. The allergy cycle is long but the sheets come out smelling incredibly clean. This machine is a winner!

We purchased just the washer after having a Maytag Neptune for 10+ years. The LG has all the fixes that the Maytag failed on. It leaves clothes smelling clean, is very quiet, and when you open the door after the cycle is finished, the clothes are not whipped against the sides of the drum. Instead, the clothes come out with less water in them and fluffed up.
