I've had this washer for about 3 or 4 weeks now, and i just love it. it has tons of features and you really can't even hear it going through the spin cycle. Even on the the lowest spin, the clothes are not wet at all. I cant say enough about this machine. glad i did some research and purchased this one.

the positives of this washer are many--energy and water efficient, very quiet, lots of great options to customize your cycles, and great looking to boot. i love it and wish we had upgraded a lot sooner, as i get a great deal of pleasure out of using it. the only negative i have is possibly not a concern for others--our laundry room is kind of narrow and the door doesn't open all the way out to the side so that it sort of sticks into the room when it is open. we don't like to leave it shut because of the potential for mildew. again, not a huge problem and hopefuly everyone else has a bigger laundry space than we do! of course, it is pricey, but we hit a good sale at lowe's and with the savings, feel it was well worth it.

We purchased the washer and electric dryer pair plus pedestals. Having had other brand front loaders for the past 12 years or so, I was not convinced we really should try another. WRONG!!! This is an amazing machine. As others have mentioned, it uses very little water and detergent, and it is designed to thoroughly yet gently clean your clothes. It is quiet and has every option imaginable. For those who experience an odor in their machine, perhaps they have been closing the door completely. This model has a magnetic latch that keeps the door slightly ajar to allow the drum to dry out. Even in muggy South Carolina summer, ours has had absolutely no mold, mildew or odor!! Love the happy song at the end too! And the dryer is the best ever as well....steam cycles are amazing.

My husband did some research & found this LG! We love it...it has so many great features, its very quiet our clothes appear cleaner.
I use the sanitary feature for cleaning towels, rugs & my dogs blankets & pillows.
The stream feature I like to use for shirts & blouses.
The bulk feature for comforters & my high thread count sheets(BTW take a long time to dry)
The machine is very easy to use & plays a little song when the wash is done

We had an old top load washer that decided that it didn't want to clean anymore. So, I researched LG products and decided that the steam would work best for our family, since I am in nursing school and my husband works in a steel factory. The new washer gets our clothes so clean that I don't have to worry about bringing home something from the hospital or finding metal shaving in my clothes. Because our old washer would leave metal shavings from my husbands clothes in the drum and put them in other loads. The new washer is quiet and I love the off indicator to let me know my laundry is done. I would not hesitate to buy another LG washer again.

This machine is so amazing, I didn't realize how big the capacity was in comparison to my older machine. But that was considerably a plus. The machine isn't loud, I really love the sound when the load is completed. I have tried almost all of the features of the machine and I am completely satisfied. Besides its beautiful, I have it in Red, it is just wonderful and very easy to use.

Everything works great, except ... hot water hose was not installed correctly and came off while product was in use. product owner fixed situation, and support dept. was not called.
