Awesome cooktop

We purchased this about a month ago and have been totally impressed. We were used to cooking on propane . This beats the entire field. The temperature control is superior to all. Melted chocolate in pan directly. Nice. Boiled two cups of water in under 2 minutes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best cooktop we have ever owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to get an induction cooktop when the glass on our old radiant cooktop (not a Bosch) cracked for no apparent reason. Bosch was rated very high, so we decided to spend a little more for a quality product. This cooktop is well made, very easy to install, and works great, just like the other Bosch appliances we have purchased over the years.

GREAT INDUCTION COOKTOP

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband purchased this a month ago to replace an old GE electric cooktop. We had been using a single eye induction cooktop for about 6 months and made the leap. I love it, it did take some adjustment for some of the dishes I prepare but it isn't hard. I would highly recommend it, the free auto chef pan is awesome. The best part is as a sealed cooktop, the clean up is so easy.

Wonderful cooktop!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant to try induction cooking, but I loved the clean, elegant look of this cooktop, so I made the leap. I bought new induction-ready cookware to go with it, and I love the results! It heats quickly and evenly. When you need to turn the heat down, it goes down instantly; it’s amazing. The controls are easy to master, and I LOVE that the cooktop does not have any knobs to clean around. Clean-up is a snap! Unlike other glass top cooktops I have had, this one does not get burnt on spots on the “burners,” a big plus. It has been in use for six months and looks brand new. Yay Bosch!

We enjoy induction cooking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bosch induction cooktop was easy to install using the existing conventional cooktop wiring.
We thought there would be a significant learning curve in order to be able to cook on the induction cooktop. But, this is not the case. We found that it was easy to learn which settings to use for different cooking situations. The speed boost works great in quickly bringing liquids to a boil.
One thing that was not clear in the sales, installation and user's manual is how much smaller a pan can be than the burner and still work properly. We have found that the pan base can be quite a bit smaller than the burner and still work. For example, a 1 quart sauce pan with a 5 1/8 inch base will work properly on the 9 inch burner.
The only down side is that you have to have pans with a magnetic base. However, this can be a good thing as you can replace some of your older, well worn pans with some new ones.
Overall, we are very pleased with the Bosch induction cooktop.
