Beautiful AND Functional!

We chose Bosch because they make reliable products that are beautiful and smartly made. We love the positioning of the controls and the how easy it is to understand how to use the cook top. We are looking forward to a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner with the help of our new cook top!!

A small step for man, a giant leap for mankind!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first cooktop was gas. It would noticeably discolor pots, and cleanups were tough. Lots of diassembly and scrubbing. Over time, the inignition became flaky, and required matches. Net step was an electric cooktop. This one was even more difficult to clean, and there was a noticeable lag between adjusting the temperature, and seeing the new temperature. Led to lots of burned items. Then came the electric ceramic top. This one still had knobs, but was much easier to clean. The only issue was the noticeable lag, and how long it took to do anything. When we received the Induction Cooktop, it was the best of both worlds. It had the instant response of gas, the ease of cleaning from the ceramic top, the speed is faster than anything I've experienced, and the the food comes out great. I have attached a photo of eggs, sunny side up. You will notice that there's no browning on the bottom, while the whites are fully cooked through. This was using the front, left burner, on 6 setting, using a cast iron skillet. I've never had more pleasure cooking.

Stylish and Functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this cooktop 2 weeks ago as a replacement for my halogen cooktop that stopped working right at holiday time. I have always preferred gas to electric, but my kitchen configuration will not accommodate gas hookup. So after researching, I decided to try induction. So far I am delighted with this cooktop. Boiling water takes no time at all and when the temperature is turned down, it adjusts quickly. Being that it is only 2 weeks old, I have not been able to check out all of the features. The esthetics are very appealing since there are no knobs and grates like gas cooktops. No wonder this is the preferred method of cooking in Europe. If she continues to perform as well as she started out, then I will never have any other brand or method.

Excellent Conduction Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little skeptical at first because I wasn't sure how Bosch would deal with newer technology. I've had this now for just over 3 years and it's been flawless. From boiling water in seconds to the nice large cooktop for big pots of sauce, it's not just cool looking but very functional and reliable. Only thing I would suggest upgrading would be the block 80's red lighting for the burners. It's 100% cosmetic but a cool LED upgrade would make the cooktop really sharp.
