Cheaply made

We replaced our B&D blender of 10 years or more with this one thinking we would get the same amount of usd out of it. We thought wrong. The plastic cup broke when dropped one time one ceramic tile kitchen floor and the base leaked so bad it leaked liquid onto the buttons so now it smells like something is burning when in use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor Design

Worked fine until the base gasket broke and started leaking out the bottom. thought I would just replace the base but went to this site to find the part. Obviously there must be a design flaw since we used this maybe 10 times. Please help me out with this.

Same problem as everybody else commenting, the blade and base assembly is a leaker and stripped out. Found part number BL1130-04 in the use and care manual but no longer available on line.

I used this blender a few times then all of a sudden it started leaking out the bottom and is completely unusable. Don't purchase.

BD BL1130 blender review

This blender is nearly new and it stripped the shaft/nut holding the blending head together.

Good blender, but seal leaks

Purchased this blender a year ago, functioned very well on all settings used daily. The seal is worn out and leaking everywhere.

Leaks

I'ved used this blender maybe 5 times in 3 years. I went to make smoothies for the kids and the blender assembly no longer attaches correctly and just leaks. I came online to look for a replacement part and see all the other reviews complaining about the same issue.
