Base cracks

I bought this about 6 months ago and have used it maybe 3 or 4 times. Last time I used it to make a smoothie - it started leaking out the bottom. After looking at the reviews for this product, this seems to be a common problem. I also looked online for replacement parts for it and found nothing

I also brought this approximately a year or less and have only used it @ the most 15 times. Trying to make a smoothie and it made a loud noise and it started leaking out the bottom. Very unhappy with this

Leaks profusely from blade assembly

There are many things I like about this blender - specifically the heavy duty glass container and powerful motor. However, it leaks profusely from the blade assembly and has ever since I purchased it about 9 months ago. I kept thinking it was me not tightening or over tightening the base enough until I put just water in it and could see the rapid dripping coming from the blade assembly and not the seal. Any possibility of getting a replacement part? I really don't want to have to replace the whole unit.

Lasted a dozen uses (maybe)

Haven't used it a dozen times in the 6 months we've had it. Used the one before for years - at least a decade. This morning I stopped it to add something else and a horrible noise happened. Apparently the small turn-style at the bottom (black plastic) that attaches to the blades somehow became detached and the small black turn-knob (whatever it's called) shredded where it went into the jar. The motor is fine, but it hardly matters. It's dead.

I was using my BL1130 blender to make a Christmas dessert and it all of the sudden stopped worked and began to have a burning smell. I immediately unplugged it and let it cool down, but it wouldn't turn back on afterwards.

Leaking base

This blender was a gift for my birthday, and was working fine up until its 4th use. Now it just leaks out of the bottom where the blades are. Clearly not designed well and I'm disappointed that this just ruined my dinner. Would not purchase or recommend.

Birthday Gift

Rec'd this product as a gift 8/11/16. After a month, the motor ceased working. No burned smells or anything..........was blending ripe chunks of avocado for guacamole! Returned/exchanged blender for another one-same model.Had this blender less than 3 months when the jar fractured. I was running the jar under the faucet to speed along the thawing process. The jar was under the faucet from the beginning, as the water heated up. I don't ever recall being so dissatisfied w/a product. Is there a recall on this product? If not, there should be! I take care of my stuff, am a gentle user. This product should've lasted me for years.
