[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blender doesn't blend simple ice cream, milk and strawberries. Motor bogs down and gets hot. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Worthless

This is the single worst product I have ever purchased. Why bother having an ice crushing option if the appliance cant crush ice? This blender is designed so poorly that I have to open and stir its contents frequently. I am better off making my smoothies by hand. Whenever I run this blender for more than 30 seconds on the hi setting it smells like burning oil.
Worthless, awful, and frustrating, I will never buy black and decker again.

They don't make them like they used to. This one only lasted a few months, never even had frozen stuff in it.

Only had it for a few months and it leaks.I saw rubber pieces in my smoothie. It is junk.

Good for the price

I've used it every week day for over a year and a half and it's just now starting to slow down. Use it for green smoothies with a small amount of frozen stuff and it does the trick just fine. I think the blades are beginning to dull, but the motor seems to have held up. For the money, I'd say it's done a good job.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don't understand why this blender is on the market

First thing I saw was that the lid is so tight that I had to cut a "v" out of it so that I could put it on and take it off easier. (Of course, that blew my chance of returning it to the store where I bought it.)
Second thing: IT LEAKS !!!
Also, don't like how the liquids bounce up and down so much that it hits the lid. What happened to the whirlpool effect, like what I get with the 4-bladed blender I used to have?
There's also a couple of times that there were chunks that stay unblended. I don't get that with my other 4-bladed blender with SHARP blades. Don't understand why this is made with dull blades.
Not happy.
