Doesn't work

I bought this blu ray player today. First it didn't come with a hdmi cable to hook it up so i had to run back to the store to pick up one of those then once i have it hooked up it would not load any disk that i try. So i returned it for a new one and have the same problem. I have tried different hdmi cable and ports on my tv with no luck yet. So i will return this one and get a refund. Then i will by the Sony Version.
Cons: everything
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Biggest piece of JUNK

Every since I bought it it doesnt want to turn on and then when you finally get it on it doesnt want to turn off. You literally have to unplug it. Now I trying to do the netflix and of course that doesnt work. This blu ray player is going in the garbage! Do not buy this product it is a JOKE!
Pros: you learn a lesson to not buy cheap
Cons: you waste your money on junk

I cant believe you dont even get the HDMI cable which makes the thing work how cheap is that. Now i have to go all the way back to the Store to get one.
Cons: no hdmi cable and you have to have to have it.

affordable player

We've had this player for about 6 months now and we enjoy it, like the vudu service on it, never had a problem with, works every time
Pros: affordable, netflix & vudu apps
Cons: remote control feels cheaply made
I would recommend this to a friend!

bought this for netflix, and guess what? Can only use WIFI with an adapter (sold seperately) but you cant find it on the website that the instructions say to go to. The only benefit to this unit is that it was sold at a BIGBOX store 2 miles from home with a nice return counter. waste of effort.
Pros: you can return it!

I have been satisfied with other Philips products, but recently I have realized huge change in there electronics. Cuts in futures, poor quality of OS. Don't waist your money on this player. Netflix and Vudu ONLY....is it a joke?

This product is a dvd player. It doesn't play blu-ray disc. It's a complete joke.

Doesn't turn on anymore!

I received this product as a gift. It worked fine for the first 2 months. I stopped using it for about a month and now that I wanted to use it, the unit doesn't even turn on! I tried unplugging it, plugging it into another source, etc. I am calling for tech support tomorrow since they are now closed. I am HIGHLY disappointed in this product! Plus, HELLO... you need to pay an additonal charge for the wireless dongle. Waste of money. Philips, what happened!!?!
Pros: easy set-up
Cons: doesn't turn on at all!!!
