Does not LOAD!

I am very frustrated with this product! I have returned the first one and now the second does not work!!! I am able to get the Phillips logo on start up, but am unable to get to the home menu... and discs will not load. The first one I purchased would get to the home screen but would not load the movie! so i ended up with a more broken one the second time around!!! I am going tomorrow to return it to the store and will not attempt to purchase another! Like the other comment said, you get what you pay for!!

Don't waste your money

Its been working fine for us until we bought the kids a new blue ray movie and it wont play it, if its not going to play new blue ray discs then why bother??

I've had this product for 3 months now and it barely works. It freezes when we try to play Netflix with high speed internet and it freezes when we play DVD's. We were debating whether or not to get this product or a different one and we regret spending the extra money on this one. It's sad you have to unplug it every time you want it to work.

This product is not worth the money!

I was very disappointed in this product once I got it home. The box is very deceiving and tells you nothing about purchasing all of the pieces seperately; and might I add the extras end up being pretty pricey. Then when I went to the website for help and contacted the company they have false pricing listed and do nothing to compensate you for it! I was pretty upset with this product and will never be purchasing again from Philips!
Cons: no info on box about extra pieces needed

I bought this player for my son. I wasn't really worried about having it wifi enabled, but it is a little annoying that I can't find the adapter to make it wifi ready. The remote doesn't like to work. I've put new batteries in it, but that didn't help. It works intermittently. It is not compatible with my UVerse remote, so I can't even not use the original. The door doesn't like to open. And it doesn't like to shut. The power button must be pressed several times, even when I wait several seconds inbetween. When you get it to work, it works great, but more often than not, my son and I both get too frustrated and give up. I'd take it back if I could find the reciept. :(
