Love this little light and find I take it all kinds of places. Great for camping when you want to save your head torch batteries for climbing. I use it in the camper and by my bedside for reading rather than a lamp.
I bought this for my son to take on a 5-day immersion camp. This is our first purchase of Biolite products. The light is excellent! The instructions are easy to understand, and the light worked as advertised. I was pleasantly surprised at the battery duration. As our family often goes camping, from now, I would like to explore other Biolite products. Thank you.
I've used this light for several months now and I finally cut off the rubber side cover in frustration. I note that the switch is now somewhat finicky, often requiring multiple presses to get the light to turn on or off. Other than that it has been a very useful light, with a pleasant diffuse pattern.
Just spent the weekend camping with the Boy Scouts. This light was great. Gave plenty of light for camp set up and late night snacks. Later I used in my tent as my light to get ready to sleep. Provided plenty of light all weekend. I also keep it handy for the power failures we have here in Maine due to the winter wind and snow. Works great for that too. I look forward to trying it on my bike this summer.

Search YouTube withe the guy giving the review in the snow. It will show you all the functions of this light. His video is very good. Why 4 and not 5 stars? Two reasons. First, the USB/Power catches on the wire stand and pops out to often. Second, you cannot charge devices that use the micro 3.0 (Galaxy S5 cable). I used the same phone with the micro 2.0 and I was able to charge the phone. I think that the 3.0 cable is trying to draw more power than the microlite can put out. Like, if you were trying charge a laptop (not what it was intended for) with this power source. Overall, I like this little guy, it's a good addition to the 2 Biolite stoves that I use. Thanks
