Replacement & Upgrade

After 15 years, I replaced my previous Brothers printer. It still works, but did not have wireless capability. My son uses it now. The HL-L5200DW is a great replacement and an upgrade from its predecessor. It's working as advertised in a home environment but not getting the high volume use of a business setting except for those exceptional times during which it has met the challenge.

Only one problem

Like every other Brother of this model number, this tends to jam when a legal size page is printed followed by a few letter size pages. It's annoying but I still love the printer and would recommend it. Hopefully Brother will correct this issue soon.

Will not print from both trays letter and legal

Dual trays are not working. 2 days calling brothers support on for hours no one is helping me. I want to return this printer and buy another newer model.

Reliable and Simple Operation

This is just a simple, straightfoward printer that work reliably and was not too much trouble to set-up. In retrospect, I might have liked to get one that scanned also, but generally I am happy.

Works well - wired and wireless

This printer was easy to setup on my PCs, MAC and iPhone. Print quality is excellent. The toner supplies are considerably cheaper than the 6 month old Lexmark that I threw out.
