My 3rd Brother laser printer

My first Brother laser printer was awesome. It lasted a lot longer than I would've thought. When it finally broke down, I knew I would purchase another Brother replacement. The HL-L5200DW is just as reliable. I love being able to duplex. It's smaller than my old one and I opted not to get a second tray. So far the printouts have been great. No jams or smears.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Clear, clean printing.

Product provides excellent text printing with quick response time and an adequate number of pages per minute. Unlike some reviewers, I found the instillation quick and easy with both wired and wi-fi networking done and working in less than a half hour. BUT— the unit is unable to print pdf files from Adobe Acrobat XI running in Windows 8.1 in spite of several hours spent troubleshooting the issue. It will print pdf from Windows 7 so the issue is likely in the software. Others have reported the same problem so I recommend this machine only to those who do not require pdf printing.

I really like Brother Products. This is my 2nd Brother Laser Printer; my 1st one lasted 16 years and then its fuser lamp failed, not bad after 16 years! I like the wireless and USB connectivity options that are built-in. Print speed is very quick, along with duplex functionality.
I would recommend this to a friend!
