Decent size and price

Have this printer for approximately 1 month and it works well but it does not do colors.
Decent size, prints fast; for the price it is alright. Like I said, I have only had it for about one month.

The printer is fast and connects easily but the copies are blackened with toner. I've blown off the excess several times but I the original toner cartridge in it and its bad. I have purchased 9 or 10 printers and fax machines from Brothers and they are normally good. This one is not. This is the third HL-5200 I bought in the last 12 months or so and I would not suggest any purchase this printer.

Easy set-up

Set-up much easier than expected. Double sided printing is so nice; and it will save so much paper. It's so nice to have crisp clean copy again.

Second Brother printer in 6 years. First one damaged in move by movers. Love this printer. Goes 3 years without a new cartridge. Always crystal clear print!

This printer replaces my trusty HP LaserJet 2100... Much faster printing affordable price... I am stull using (limited?) toner cartridge that cam with it...toner is expensive, as expected... I have purchased a generic cartridge replacement... If that works OK, then the overall cost is excellent... Main problem is that it so much current that it tripped my UPS... Decided to skip the UPS for this product... now lights just flicker when printing... it occasionally pulls 2 sheets of the cheap copy paper I use... Despite these little issues, I would recommend this Brother as a good small office medium load printer...

Laser Printer

The printer works fine. The feature to print on both sides of the paper is very smooth and doesn't jam. The speed of printing is fine. My next project is to connect to the printer from my LAN wireless router.
I would recommend this to a friend!
