Wireless? Copier

I’m not sure how the copier is wire less, because we couldn’t make it work without booking it to our modem. So it works but it sure is slow.

Printer Did Not Work Out of the Box

I took the printer out of the box and plugged it in. Got an error message that there was a paper jam and to remove the ink cartridge and the drum and remove the jammed paper. Problem was that there was no paper in the machine. I printed out manual (365 pages) to review guidance on how to fix the problem. Also contacted Brother support. When there was no resolution, I returned the printer. Other problem was that the manual printed out without page numbers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’m really disappointed. Do not buy!

I have tried for months to print mixed paper size documents with not success. I have contacted brother repeatedly and I just spent 1 hour just today. We tried everything and then I was told that there was nothing else that they could do and referred me to contact adobe. I plan to sell this machine and buy another printer from a different brand.

Lifespan Less than 36 Months - Truly Unexpected!

I purchased this printer in August 2020 and expected for the price that it would be a reliable laser printer for at least 5 years. Initially, it was a great little workhorse. However, after replacing the ink and drum kit a couple of times over the last couple of years, the machine continues to leak ink and does not print clearly. Further, trying to find a local dealer that actually repairs these machines is nearly impossible. I am VERY disappointed, given the many great marks given Brother products, in general. It makes me leery about trying another.

Nothing but problems

I am a loan signing agent and need to print letter and legal documents at the same time, I have a MAC and the printer will not separate the pages appropriately. I have tried everything I can think of to correct the problem without success. It was difficult to set up and when I print , the lights in my office dim.

Horrible never worked

Received new and it never worked. Kept bringing up error messages n had to keep fighting with company to get it fixed. They only want to give me a refurbished even though I bought it new. I will go back to buying Epson

This is not a color printer. Black and white only

Don't make the same mistake I did by assuming every printer in this day and age is a color printer as well as a scanner etc...

Performance Review of Brother HL-L5200DW Printer

This printer is loaded with features that previously were only available on higher priced models. I love the ease of setting up the printer, making it an integral part of my home network. I verified not only the printer's ability to receive printing jobs from all computers in my home but from various iPhones and iPads as well as. All went flawlessly. I also love the printer's relatively small footprint as the space is limited. I was slightly disappointed with the noise emanating from the printer performing its job. It must be noted that the printer is capable of printing 42 pages per minute, hence it is noisier. Going through the menu, using the 'Ecology Setting' the speed of the printer can be lowered, resulting in the printer generating less noise while operating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
