The printer and my computer talk quickly between one another which lets the printer print quickly and the copies come out clear and crisp. The printer tends to jam going between different size paper. I print mortgage packages so most print jobs have legal and letter size paper. Even though the jam is easy to clear, this can be frustrating. The printer also decides when the toner needs to be changed and will stop printing when it hits the max number.
A nightmare to set up to WiFi but now working well

My husband is in IT and is very familiar with setting things up to work with a WiFi network, but he had a terrible time getting this to connect to our home network. Like it took him all afternoon and I heard lots of cursing. But he eventually got it going and now it's working well. My only complaint is that the first page it prints often has a lot of tiny black spots on it, like excess toner. I haven't taken the time to find out if there's something I can do to fix that yet. Printing is fast and quality is good.
I bought this printer because it was recommended through a class I was taking. It was the best for the most reasonable price. I use it for my home based business.
My husband and I share a home office and have always had separate printers with only one paper tray and both were s l o w. The Brother HL-L5200DWT is a life and space saver! Because it is wireless, we can share this printer and have access to both letter and legal paper without having to stop and change paper in the printer. LOVE THIS PRINTER!!!!
