First I will say that I am a huge fan of the UA brand. Being a P.E. Teacher, UnderArmour provides a lot of quality products that are very comfortable to wear and I can still look very professional when I am teaching my students. I bought the UA Health Box because I wanted to get back on a healthy fitness regimen after suffering from a broken leg that put me back in terms of being in shape. Setting up the band, scale, and heart rate monitor was very easy. I watched the instructional video a few times so I knew exactly how to sync all the components and everything was up and running in less than 10 or 15 minutes. The band and heart rate monitor is very comfortable to wear and hardly know I am wearing it when I'm at the gym. I am a little surprised at the fact that a company such as UA does not have their own nutrition app that goes with the UA Record. I feel as though more users would get more out of the app and the Health Box is there was something similar to MyFitness Pal.

So far, I'm very happy with the UA Health Box. The heart rate monitor, fitness band, and scale all work well together. The apps still have some room for improvement, but this product is still in its infancy, so I hope those improvements are made along the way.
The UA Band fits very nicely on my wrist and is the least noticeable band I've tried while sleeping. Others seem to have woken me up during the night because I was wearing them, but I can wear this one through the night without an issue. The band has a pretty good battery life, but it charges incredibly quick. This is definitely a positive. One negative might be the nonstandard charger, which does seem to have to go on a specific way. The screen is nice and easy to read and keeps things pretty simple. It seems to track steps fairly accurately, and it pairs very quickly with the HR monitor. When paired, the light will change colors to indicate where you are in your target HR zone. This is very helpful. The vibrating alarm is also very pleasant and has a number of uses.
The UA scale looks really cool. I've been impressed with it so far. I can't speak to the accuracy of the bodyfat percentage, but it seems to be accurate to me. I don't really have anything to compare it to, though. The weight measurements have been consistent for me as well and sync up very well to the app and myfitness pal. It doesn't take long to use and get a reading, either.
The HR band works rather well and is comfortable enough to use. It syncs quickly with the band. My only gripe with this has more to do with the software. Maybe it works in running mode, but when you are doing weights, you don't get to see much detail of your workout. It gives the total calories and time. I would like to see a chart of the HR throughout the workout so I can see what worked best or not. I hope they add more detail to this - at the price point, it seems like it should already be here. Maybe I'm missing on where that is, too. I'm not sure.
I've been using this health box for nearly a month and have been very impressed. It has definitely helped me keep my diet and workouts in check on a daily basis, and I have made daily progress to my goals. I hope Under Armour keeps this technology moving forward through app and firmware updates.

Great overall

After a month of the living the UA health box I'm ready to review it .The UA health box is overall great at everything it is suppose to do. First the UA band works great with intense workouts. Also the battery is pretty good lasting me up to 3-5 days depending how much I workout which is usually 1 to 2 times a day. Now on to the heart rate sensor. The heart rate sensor is pretty comfortable and is very accurate. Also works great with the UA band. Then the scale which is a key part for me because I'm trying to gain weight without gaining some fat which to many is challenging. Overall it does exactly what it says does and it does very well.The main thing that I liked about the UA health box is how it all works together without you having to put any of the effort to track your weight ,sleep and workout .The only downside is the price but I am very invested in fitness so for the price I get my money's worth and more.

Overall, the product is wonderful! High marks all around!
However, I own and love my Microsoft phone. Luckily I have an old Android phone laying around so I use it to synch everything to UA Record. Problem is, I can't save my activities unless I'm home or in a good Wi-Fi spot. If you had more compatibility, with Windows I could fully use it where ever. Please look into developing a Record app for Windows phones or compatibility for an already existing Microsoft app..

Provides Full Picture of Your Health

Love this system. I can see everything about my health on the band or by opening the app. I track my food on MyFitnessPal and even that shows up in UA Record. I also love that you can track how you feel every day. I am learning about what activities make me feel good that day and following days.

Really not useful in Gym/Physically active enviroenments

While the matt finish looks good on the UA band, it is too sensitive and it gets big scratches very easily. I would not recommend this to anyone who want to use it while they are in the gym or play sports.

Well were to start overall the healthbox as a whole is awesome and has lived up to its word and my expectations so far.
Now the only needs for improvement that I can see are features to the ua band itself.
And by that I mean a list of things to take into consideration.

Here's my list
Number1. It could use a better battery use maybe a sustainable battery with a year's life span before having to change it or a longer lasting rechargeable battery last 2 weeks or so before recharching also instead of a proprietary charger you could use a micro USB charger instead.

Number 2. it needs a swimming option added to fitness section. A dog walking feature would be nice to in the fitness section as well.
Number 3. definitely a better screen maybe a screen that has bright led and does good in sun light. However The screen in low light areas, and at night out doors does excel for now.
So that really is all the complaints I can say I have about the healthbox system. For me it has been worth the investment.
