I really wanted to love this...but

I'm an UA junkie. As soon as that weekely email cones out, I'm inevitably buying something new.
I love this brand!
That being said, this product is too flaky to be embellished with the coveted UA logo.
The only thing that works consistently is the steps, a very basic function numerous other gadgets have mastered.
The other features, like body weight tracking( lises sync all the time), body fat (has never been close, and I have mine down to a science...water tank, calipers everything. I know I'm 8.5%, yet on the scale I'm 19%!). Also, while sleep accurately tracks time, it's off on depth. Nutrition seems too lean, and why not pair with existing technology's you own like myfitnesspal?
I really want to see this thing evolve, but for now, I'll likely return and rebuy when they have the kinks worked out.

Love it but already looking forward to Band 2.0

This is an awesome and exciting product. After 2 weeks of use, I am happy with the results. This system has definitely made me more informed and has helped keep me honest to my sleep and fitness goals set in UA Record (awesome app, wish it were also available for iPad). The big question, is it worth it? If you want to feel better or could use a little motivation to keep you on the wagon, absolutely! If you're already an intense fitness nut, it might only be cool for a week or two unless you're data driven. It's cool to have a 4 part system (band, scale, heart, app). It was easy to set-up and operates pretty seamlessly. The band is the key component. Love how aesthetic it is for 24/7 wear. The display is functional but dated. I wear it as my watch (wish it had the date along with the time). My big complaint is the golf ball texture of the underside...it harbors sweat and bacteria which can irritate my skin if not cleaned regularly. Design fail. Wore a cheap rubber watch band for years, never had this problem. I also wish it had improved waterproofing. It's only sweat/splash proof and it's only a matter of time until I forget and accidentally stick my hand too far into the car wash bucket or something. Next...the scale. I wanted this or I may have passed on the box and went right for the band. It's high style. The only knock is if you move it, you have to use it a couple times to re calibrate so I feel like I can't move it. All in all, cool set-up. The inside of the outer box it arrived in says "Everything here was built to make you better" and for me that has been true. If this will make you healthier, it's not so pricey.

Worth the money!

I was hesitant at first to drop $400 on this where I already had the Armour39 and an Apple Watch. I am not an avid athlete either but after downloading and playing with all the connected UA apps, I realized that it was engaging me to focus more on my health than I realized and I talked myself into getting the shiny toys in the red box I had been looking at for a while. The band was charged out of the box which was nice where I don't like waiting for something to charge to play with it. The scale and heart monitor also had batteries included! Setup was super easy on the Record app and the tutorials were a nice plus. Once you play around with the band for a little bit it makes sense and works better and easier with the UA apps than I thought. I loved how I started off working out as a walk but started jogging and it picked up on the change immediately. I also really like the different colored LED light on the side that indicates your heart rate zone while working out and how light the band is. The scale does exactly what it advertises and looks really sharp. I LOVE the new heart rate monitor. Anyone who had the Armour39 I think will immediately notice a difference in how it feels wearing it. Armour39 I had issues with connecting and the actual fit being too wide near my chest but the new band is really thin doesn't cut into my body anymore making is much more comfortable and almost undetectable while working out. Overall, if you enjoy Record, MapMyRun and MyFitnessPal, you should really consider buying the HealthBox as it really does seamlessly connect everything together! Thanks UA!

I Received my UA Band yesterday -- so far it is working better than I had hoped. I have a Polar Heart Monitor but it does not sync to the the UA Band. Since I actually like the band very much (even after 1 day) I reached to find out if I could buy the UA heart Monitor and was told It only comes with the complete Healthbox. Disappointing to say the least -- i hope they sell the heart monitor separately soon.

Great Idea, Flawed Execution

I have now been using my HealthBox for about a month. The initial setup was not very smooth. There were problems with linking the devices to the UA Record on a iPhone 6 running the current iOS. The scale was the biggest problem. It kept connecting only for a few seconds and then the connection was lost. It finally worked (I am not sure what I did)...after multiple e-mails and about 2 days of aggravation. Now the scale communicates with UA Record on my phone with what is at best an "approximate weight". If you re-weigh yourself multiple times in a row you will NEVER get the same weight twice. The difference can vary by up to 3 pounds. That sort of variation should be unacceptable in a shipped product. That is beta-like (or really alpha) behavior. Fluctuations of +/- a pound would be barely acceptable but this wide fluctuation is not. Hopefully, this can be fixed in software but I doubt it, it seems to be a problem with cheap pressure gauges that lack reproducibility.
The battery life on the UA Band is quite short and you only are warned if it is 10% or below (otherwise you have to check). Since it is a sleep monitor, simply charging at night is not a great option. At least the charging is fast.
I have used POLAR HR monitors for years. The UA HR monitor is not nearly as comfortable.

Overpriced and not accurate

I've had my health box 3 months so I've had time to try it out. I like the band it's comfortable and seems accurate enough on the steps. I think the sleep tracker is fairly accurate also. The scale is not so accurate it fluctuates 6-7 pounds within minutes. I've always weighted myself twice to make sure I get the same number and I rarely get the same weight twice. It's quite frustrating considering the cost. I expected better accuracy. I haven't used the heart rate monitor yet. So I can't comment on it.

Love the entire UA HealthBox System

Pros- lots of them. I may not be the one running several mile. I do play Racquetball, walk, run and lift weights. I love the system so far. It works great with all the MyFitness apps. Everything synced very easily. Collects a lot of data i can use to improve my health. Not sure why there are some unsatisfied folks on here but i think its great. Its helped motivate me to loose 10lbs and gain back needed muscle. They also have made some software/firmware updates already that make it even better.
Cons-The battery does not last as long as i would like. I get a few days maybe 3 but i use it all the time. Good part it charges in 30 to 45 minutes. I had the Fitbit surge and really like this much more.
The scale seems a little touchy. I have found use it in the same spot and seems good. Move it a lot and it gets a little different readings.

If you are looking for a toolkit that helps map out multiple fitness aspects in your life this is for you. The UA Record is absolutely outstanding and captures the information you need if you are really interested in taking your fitness to the next level. The sleep analysis captured by the band and later synced and analyzed by RECORD is amazing. All pieces together really help complete the picture and help you look at your fitness levels/goals through a completely new lens.
Nice job!
