Cools perfectly; operation not so much

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this, I think, in April. It has been working to keep my house cool. The problem is that it no longer responds to the remote and even the commands made thru the control panel on the unit itself sometimes work and sometimes don't. I finally got it set to work and have just left it so I can make it thru the hottest part of the summer. Since it is under warranty, I need to call for repair and will soon.

Great product

It is now August and so far this has worked better than any A/C we have had. Handles the area better than any of the others. It is quiet, seems to be efficient and we are very happy with this product. We would highly recommend this unit.

Excellent warranty and cooling

Each one supplied exceptional cooling even during the hottest days and weeks here in Texas. I would recommend this product to anyone who is wanting not only good product service but warranty and a company that treats you well after the purchase.

It doesn't make much noise, although a bit more than the 8,000 unit we had from the same manufacturer, but that's to be expected. It was hard to pick up, as it is quite heavy/awkward, but two of us managed to install it in our bedroom window. If put on "cool" , the fan does NOT cycle on and off . This is good so as not to interrupt
sleep. Cools down to 60 degrees.
