Great ac!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit about a month ago, and I wish I had done it years ago. I live in the top floor of an apartment building with poorly ventilated attic. Everyone’s heat rises to me, plus the heat from he roof... let’s just say, in the dead of northeastern summer, the temperature in my living room reaches 96F. Not anymore. This unit cools off my 500 sq ft room quickly and efficiently and for a change I don’t dread coming home on a hot summer day. It’s a little noisy, but ok for a 12K BTU unit. Love it!

Nice AC!

I bought this as a supplemental cooler for my second floor, which the central AC barely touches. It has done an excellent job and has nice options and a helpful remote control.

Bought today, 5/25/2018 going back Monday 05/27! Can't even find reviews ! Claims it 12000 btu's and suppose to cool up to a 500 square foot room! This won't even cool a "Shoe Box"!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Single Best Investment I've Ever Made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in the desert, so it regularly reaches 105+ degrees F every single day for months during the summer. Our rental house has a vent system with evaporative cooling; however, if there is any bit of humidity, the system doesn't work at all. Monsoon season is completely unbearable, and our poor main living space had no possible way to cool down (the bedroom and office both have smaller Frigidaire AC units).
All I can say is WOW, did this unit exceed my expectations. I was worried it would be ugly because of the online photos, but it actually fit in the front living room window perfectly and blends in aesthetically, such that it's barely noticeable in just about any window. Installation could not possibly have been easier; I didn't even need to look at the directions. There is plenty of packing and various pieces included for insulation to fit anyone's needs. Of course, the unit is heavy and large, and most of its volume is outside (thank goodness), but if you're worried about outside aesthetics you shouldn't be shopping for a window unit anyway.

Compact size and power
