It has a clogged drain hole problem

There I a pipe from beneath the condenser to the holding tank that gets clogged and you have to open the unit to unclog it.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have an older home with no ductwork. Years ago I bought a smaller LG portable and another brand for another room.
I just bought 2 of this model for 2 big rooms, as my elderly mother moved in. This is powerful, not noisy, audible, I work from home,sit about 20 feet away and can hear conversations fine.
Love the auto vent it's like being fanned! Energy saver is new and I use it at night. Box lifts off the top easily after box straps are cut. A little heavy but I am a female and was able to lift slowly off of the bottom foam. Packaged Great! Easy to set up. Keep it upright like the directions say before starting.
I need to purchase one more for another big room. Love this model. Do not hesitate buy it!

Works great only complaint is having to drain unit 3 times in a row about every few days but we are using it at high compacity!

Sadly it died after 2 years and apparently I wasn't the only one, now it doesn't cool at all.

I shopped around before deciding on this portable air conditioner. I had a little trouble getting the vent set in the window, but that had nothing to do with the air conditioner. My house is old and has the windows with the counter weights. It wasn't until after mashing my hands twice that I realized someone had cut the ropes for the counter weights. After propping the window up with a can of Pringles, I was able to get the vent set properly and enjoy the cool air. I especially love the fact that the flaps on the front will swing up and down in distributing the cool air. Great product. I would definitely buy again.

A very inexpensive way to cool my my small home.Outside temp for past several months has been averaging 80 deg.Broke record for most consecutive days over 90 deg.The ''AHHH factor''when you walk into cooled house is incredible,to say the least.

Just moved to Sarasota and getting used to the heat. The AC unit allows me to work in my garage in the midst of the summer down here. Love it.
