Best Portable Unit I’ve Owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While on the higher end, price wise... you get what you pay for. Those few extra thousand BTU’s sure come in handy on those hot days! This unit not only does the job of cooling our master bedroom, but if we keep the air flowing it’ll keep our entire 2nd floor around 71 degrees.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this some months ago for a large upstairs bedroom with a slider window. It works great!
First off, it comes out of the box so easily. I was worried I'd have to lift it out of the box. Nope! The box top and sides come off the bottom and it was a simple lift of the unit out of a very shallow bottom piece of packing and cardboard. And it's on wheels so once on the carpet, it rolled smoothly to where I needed it.
It was simple to put the panels and exhaust hose in the window, however I did need more insulation strips than they supply (it's a big window and I had more insulation on hand already... plus duct tape to hold things in place and keep tiny bugs out of cracks). Overall it was very easy to set up. Directions are very clear. I did insulate the exhaust hose as the hose does get HOT and it doesn't help to have that heating up the room while the A/C is trying to cool it.
The unit keeps the large bedroom, hallway, and half the upstairs very cool and comfortable on energy saver mode so it doesn't run constantly. I keep it at 74 which is PLENTY cold on this unit. Any lower and I'd get frostbite; it's THAT cold.
Very good investment for an old house with no central A/C.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was one of the best purchases I have made. Just love it. Does everything I expected and need it to do

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and it works great! It cools most of my apartment, it isn’t crazy loud, and it really blows the cold air on high. The only issue is there is no “light dimmer” for thr front panel. So at night we have to tape a piece of paper over the lights because they’re very bright. I haven’t owned it for years, so I don’t know how long it will last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought his unit for my 87 year old dad’s apartment. Attached it to external drainage. It’s been making 1-4 gallons of water every 8 hours so not sure if it would ever function as AC with internal tank!! But it’s making it livable when the temp is in the 90’s outside. Have since punched a hole to drain it outside. I’m

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have owned this about a month now and have nothing but good things to say about it. Had read that it was loud but I don't think it is any louder than a window unit. It cools the room effectively in 100 degree heat. Would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Much more than I expected. Makes my room cool. Circulates the cool air and doesn’t have to run constantly to keep room cool.
