This does a great job of cooling a room quickly. The only very minor drawback is that it is a little loud, but otherwise works perfectly.

We do love this

We have had two weeks of 100+ temps. Got this just before it started, and believe it or not it worked like a charm. Our pets have even taken claim of it and all of them try to get in front of it as much as possible. So you can see that it has became the families most favorite room to be in, all of us.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

It beats the heat

Product works great and is easy to control with the remote control. The only thing that could be better is how it connects to the window jack that come with the product.

One feature I wanted was a reasonably quiet portable air conditioner. This one is. I found it easy to install and it keeps our garage so much cooler than we expected. Bravo, LG!!

Overall a very good unit

I got this unit to help cool the lower part of my house. Since I got it, the downstairs house A/C doesn't have to run near as much. It really does a good job cooling a large area.
The only issue I have is the window kit. It is a bit flimsy and I even broke a piece of it on the initial install. It does not adjust easily. If you need to add sections to it, you have to purchase a complete kit - individual panels are not available.
Other than that, its been rock solid and quiet. I highly recommend this unit.

We bought this air conditioner in the heat of the summer and it has been great. It has cooled off our living room fairly nicely. It has been great to have.

We live in a quirky little place off the beaten path and it is perfect for us except for one thing, there is no air conditioning. The owners don't allow window units, so we thought we would just suck it up over the summer when things started to heat up. Little did we know that our state was going to have a record breaking heat wave this year, we were dying! My husband works from home, so he really got the worst of it and I was starting to seriously worry about his health. Enter your excellent portable air conditioner. You saved us! This is a great product, it's easy to use and easy to clean. It easily cools down all four rooms in our little duplex and makes about the same level of noise as a window unit. We are very satisfied customers. Thanks LG Electronics!

Cable cord bracket broke on the back. The display is to small. When turn off shakes a lot
