We had this dishwasher a month and after 3 service calls finally had to have the control panel replaced. It cleans OK but the dishes are still wet unless you leave it overnight. I would not recommend this dishwasher.

Works Good, Loads Poorly

We bought this as part of a kitchen remodel along with other GE Café appliances in the Slate Black color. It works well and is very quite. My only complaint is that the rack patterns in the dishwasher seem to limit how it can be loaded which limits how many dishes can be put into a single load. This increases the number of loads that must be run.

LCD failure

Had a failure of the LCD panel. When searching online this appears to be a common problem with the model however no option other than pay service fee to get a service call to address a problem that the manufacturer knows is a problem. The cost should not be bourne by the consumer.

Very Quiet but breaks often

We are very pleased with how the dishwasher works. It is very quiet while running and it cleans the dishes nicely. However, the display board has failed twice since it was installed in 2/2017. The first time it stopped working was after 2 months. Now, it's failed again and we're not very pleased with having to pay to have it fixed a second time. The dishwasher still works, but you can't see anything on the LED display. Very frustrating. We bought GE appliances since we could get them serviced on the Outer Banks. Based on previous experience, though, I would have loved to get Viking appliances if service were available in our area. Alas, we're stuck with GE.

LCD display not working after 2 1/2 years.

I have owned this dishwasher for the past 2 1/2 years. Just last week when we went to use the dishwasher the LCD display went blank. All other buttons function. I can select through the different cycles though I never know which one I am on. The part looks to be ~150 and I don't know what labor might be. Not sure what I am doing at this point but GE brand is probably not in my future.

I purchased this dishwasher through the builder of my new home as an upgrade. I am very disappointed in the performance. The dishes rarely are clean (and I rinse them before putting into the dishwasher) and always have condensation on them/aren't fully dry (I use the heated drying cycle). The third shelf for utensils is one of the features I wanted this dishwasher for and the utensils do not come out clean from that shelf. I have intermittent problems with the soap dispensing correctly despite putting the capsule into the drawer correctly (I spoke to someone on the phone who explained how to put it in there.) Regardless, occasionally I open a completed cycle to find a glop of the soap pod. The only nice thing I can
say is that it's very quiet. This was an expensive/splurge purchase and I regret it.
