3rd time is a charm???

The first machine was installed in May and it failed after four cycles. The second was installed several weeks later and the board failed the first time I tried to set a cycle. The screen was just blank. I was able to use it while waiting for the third machine to arrive, but had to accept whatever cycle it chose to give me. The third machine was installed on August 16th,2016. So far it's seems to be fine, and I hope I didn't just jinx it. I'm also hoping for the best. It's a beautiful dishwasher and when it is working it does a wonderful job of cleaning. It's very nice to look at as well. Unbelievably quiet too. Because it has taken three machines so far, I have to rate it very low, but I will upgrade it when enough time has passed to make sure the problem has been corrected. GE has been very co-operative with the replacements. PS...I bought this dishwasher because I purchased the whole CAFE series

Had same issue with display

Mine had been broken longer than it's worked. Same issue as others have said with the display. Hopefully the replacement part will work better than the original.

Dont waste your money

the digital display in the door went out after four months, so you don't know what cycle you choose. while still waiting for service, now the dishwasher wont run a full cycle.

If you haven't already done so, try shutting off the circuit breaker that powers your dishwasher. Leave it off for a minute or two before restoring power. This will often reset the internal circuitry.

Like the other reviewers, the screen died after 8 days. Had the unit replaced, and now the replacement has the same issue after 9 days.....

Display quit working for the third time. Poor quality for the price compared to dishwasher I replace. Doesn't perform as good as unit I replaced. Dishes don't dry completely.

Cafe Series

We built a new home and moved in mid December 2016. We purchased the Cafe Package with this dishwasher, the French door refrigerator and the dual fuel convection oven. They have already had to come out and replace a control board in the stove and I just called for service on the dishwasher because the display window went blank and won't show me which cycle I have selected. The Cafe Series is by no means a cheap product but the quality for the price paid definitely does not match! !! I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE MONEY WE SPENT ON THESE APPLIANCES!!!

Great design. Performance? Not so great...

Purchased in the spring of 2016. It looks beautiful, and completed the look with or other Cafe line appliances. The operation is whisper quiet, but the cleaning performance is average, at best.
Just last night, the LCD display malfunctioned. Not too impressed with the quality of this "top of the line" appliance.
