MORE THAN I INITIALLY EXPECTED

I had purchase another purifier that was suppose to have a permanent filter. I really didn't pay much attention until my daughter moved back home and she has serious breathing issues. I initially tried to get replacement filters which was impossible so I went on-line to our military exchange and we selected this air purifier and even paid the extra coverage for it (not knowing warranted for 5 years). When it arrived we were so impressed we order an additonal filter for our downstairs area.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Makes the room's air noticeably clearer and helps me breathe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own a dog, and have an allergy to her dander, so I suffer breathing problems when the carpets aren't completely clean. This causes several problems, most of all trouble sleeping. Several years ago, I owned a different brand's air purifier and it helped a great deal; it was lost in a move, so I was eager to try this one. The purifier helped from the very first night we plugged it in: the air felt lighter and less stuffy, and I could breathe with more ease. I actually sleep better with this purifier, which is huge because not much else has helped. The purifier does a consistently good job of clearing the dog's dander and other particulates from the air. It also continues to do its job very quickly after turning it on, as with that first night of use. I have only been turning it on in the evenings, and it's already helping. I have not been using the purifier continuously because I don't want to replace the filter too often. The previous purifier I used required regular cleaning (every 2-3 days in the summer). All told, the work and materials use probably even out between the filters, but I don't like having to remember to order replacements, and I'm reluctant to subscribe to the replacement plan they offer. In the short time I've been using it, this purifier has made a positive change in my quality of life, and I'd recommend it to others who have trouble breathing clearly in their own homes. It has helped with my pet allergy, and I've been sleeping with clearer sinuses and greater ease.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We keep the air purifier running at almost all times. It has 3 different speeds, none of which are very loud. The lowest setting is very quiet and perfect for nighttime operation in our room. We have another air purifier that we use in our baby's room that is much louder and also functions as a white noise machine. Again, the AC 350 is relatively quiet and wouldn't be ideal for a white noise machine, if that's what you're looking for. The only downside is a blue light that is on whenever the machine is running, which can be annoying at night.
Pros: Adjustable, Durable, Good Power Output, Lightweight, Quiet, Stable Base
Cons: Heavy / Bulky

I love this for my room it helps with odor and air quality I have 2 cats and a cockatoo who is produces a lot of dander not only is it basically silent but it's convient because it has sensors that tell you which filters need to be changed. It helps with the sometimes musky odor of the room between cat litter, bird dander etc. a good product with a inexpensive price tag compared to most other purifiers

great air purifier, that i gave to my 86 year old mother

My 86 year old mom, was advised by her doctor, that it would be a good idea to get an air purifier to use in her basement apartment. she doesn't get out much, and wont , with the colder winter weather coming. Her doctor said , since shes confined , especially during the colder months, she should have an air purifier to keep the levels of dust, mold spores, dander, etc, cleaned out of the air in the basement. She loves it already! Clean,fresh air noticed by her immediately. I have Vornado products, including an air purifier, and i knew exactly who to go to for mom's air purifying needs. Vornado!!!

Vornado is a step up for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I would say that other than being bulky and loud, the Vornado air purifier is great. I have not had it long enough to really note any substantial improvement on my allergies, but it's a great asset to my room. Next up is locating filters though. Many times these filter purifiers quit making the filters that fit them or they get really hard to locate.

Cons: Heavy, Heavy / Bulky, Loud
