Sleek and effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My room can get pretty musty but I just put this in the corner-- super easy to use and no set up needed at all -- and on high mode, my large room feels much fresher within 15 minutes. The one downside to the Vornado is that it is very loud. High mode sounds like a blow dryer, low mode is definitely still a very noticeable hum.
Pros: Adjustable, Good Power Output, Stable Base
Cons: Loud

Great addition for a healthy lifestyle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Newsweek magazine featured an article in June 2016 that noted that indoor air pollution is a much bigger public health problem than outdoor air pollution, even though most people are not aware of it. The article drove home the importance of using an air purifier at home. While I am always trying to keep our family healthy in any way I can and make improvements to our lifestyle, this article underscored the importance of using air purifiers even if you do not have acute respiratory problems in your family. Now some thoughts about the product itself. Pros: - The air purifier seems to be well made and sturdy, giving the impression of a quality product. I really like that it has a HEPA filter which is essential if you want to improve the air in your household. - When you operate it for a while the air in the room smells somewhat different so it definitely works. - It has three different power settings. When you use the lowest one, you can have the machine run over night in your bedroom. The noise it makes is somewhat similar to white noise machines for babies. Cons: - The highest power setting is pretty loud. It doesn't really disturb me when I am running it throughout the day in a room where no one is present, but it likely will be bothersome if you are in the same room or if you tried to sleep while the machine is at the highest setting. I will keep using the air purifier at a regular basis. Initially, I was just going to use it at night in our bedroom and purify the air occasionally during the daytime in our children's bedroom. However, after reading the Newsweek report I have started purifying the air in our entire house with the machine. I just carry it from room to room and let it run for an hour or two. I don't feel like I have to do each room every day, but I will use the air purifier with the intention of improving the air quality in the entire house. Since we have a big house I may end up purchasing one or two additional purifiers.

Effective air cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised by how effective this air purifier is, especially when running on high. Within minutes I can tell a difference in the air in the room in which it's running. I live in the country and there's a lot of pollen, a lot of dust and a smoker in the house. The unit is a bit loud on high but not obnoxiously so and no more than any other air purifier on high. On low and medium settings it's very quiet. For effectiveness, this compares very well to the Winex air purifier I have running in an adjacent room. It is missing one feature the Winex has, however, and that is an automatic sensor. This sensor adjusts the settings whenever any dust, pollen or other pollutants are sensed. Otherwise, the Vornado does everything I expect a good air purifier to do.
Pros: Adjustable, Compact

I bought 2 of these due to the smoke from the California wildfires. I have 2 other Vornado air purifiers we bought over 10 years ago when my premie came home from the hospital. Those original 2 have been running every single night for 10+ years and still going strong so it was a no brainer to buy Vornado again. The new models are a bit smaller and quieter and perfect white noise to sleep through. I feel like my indoor air is clean. Can’t smell any smoke indoors whatsoever. I even have one of the older ones running in the garage and keeps the smoke smell out of there too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited when I received this product, especially since I live in a very hot, dusty and dry part of the United States. This product really purifies the air. I can honestly say I did not have my usual allergy symptoms of congestion, headaches and puffy eyes after using this product. Oh, and I have a dog that sheds like crazy, too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for a small to medium sized bedroom. The fan is a little loud even on low, but it's great for white noise. After just an hour the room smelled cleaner without the tinge of ozone some air purifiers have. My only two complaints are that the plastic feels a little cheaper and that the blue power light is very bright.

After suffering from pollen and dust allergies for too long, I went to a specialist who recommended Flonase and an air purifier. As a long time Vornado customer, I went to their website and ordered this room size purifier. I have been using it for several weeks and can tell there is a big difference. I am less congested and can visually see there is much less dust building up in my home. I plan on buying another one for my den.
